Collection: Stone House of Tubac

Stone House of Tubac was created by the married couple, Carrie Simpson-Petty and Jim Petty, both professional artists.

Carrie has been an artist her entire life. After several years of free-lance illustration jobs, computer graphic design, sign painting and mural projects, Carrie started her full-time decorative painting business in 1996 specializing in custom hand-painted murals for ceilings, walls and outdoor surfaces. Since then she has worked with clients from the east coast to the west including hotels, casinos, restaurants, spas and hundreds of residential projects. Carrie's work has been featured in numerous regional magazines. Carrie also specializes in decorative concrete finishes for countertops, walls, back splashes and floors.

Jim has been a fine art painter most of his life, specializing in watercolors. His paintings have been featured in national shows and galleries throughout his career. Jim's art career has spanned working for advertising companies as well as having his own business creating point of purchase displays for regional companies in GA. Jim combines his artistic skills with his decorative concrete systems to create beautiful works of art on existing concrete and flooring surfaces.
